Well after arguably the most exciting season in MLS history, it has now come to an end. However, that is only the end of the season. What can this offseason bring us? More DP`s? An even bigger influx of South American talent? Certainly more talent will be brought in, but the question is who?
As for the Fire, who`ve had 3 players leave the team so far, (Losing both Chris Armas and Paulo Wanchope to retirement and Ivan Guerrero to the San Jose expansion draft) there should be a significant amount of money to spend on a new player. Maybe a couple depending how the money is spent. Let`s see if that new ownership opens up their wallet!
In your opinion, where should the team start? Do we need to strengthen that defense? Should we get someone who can finish off those passes from Blanco or should we continue to let Barret, Rolfe, and Carr make progress? Any other parts of the team that you want to be strengthened?
Feel free to state your oppinion here, the new spot for Chicago Fire soccer!
